Utah skiing

So remember I told you that we were going to live up the last week before Kyle starts school?!  Well we sure have.  Last Thurs we headed to UTAH for a long weekend of skiing! And it was so much fun!  And our timing to the state with the greatest snow on earth was just perfect.  It dumped all week and then was sunny, warm and beautiful Friday AND Saturday.  Seriously. perfect. timing.

When we weren't skiing, we were catching up with family and friends.  So glad we got to spend the afternoon with you grandma J! We miss you lots!

It was great to catch up with all the mission buddies and their wives.  And Cafe Rio wasn't a bad idea either.

I couldn't get enough of this little girl and her cute sisters.  Thanks so much for letting us stay with you Ryan and Michelle!

Last but not least, we got to see a few of our favorite married couples.  What fun memories and a special bond we have together.  We missed you Steve and Steph!

We were also able to see my little sister perform in the ballet corp of Phantom of the Opera at BYU.  To say the show was incredible is an understatement.  I was floored by the talent and production, but then remembered that BYU doesn't ever really "half" do something  anything.  Word got around about this sold out production and there were seriously people holding up signs in the HFAC asking for tickets.  I felt like I was at a sold out sporting event or something.  It was SO GREAT and Kaley did AMAZING!!!  If only I could fly for free and be there this weekend for Sleeping Beauty.

I need to be a flight attendant.

  2. So glad you guys got to have a super fun and relaxing trip before it's back to the grind of school (and work!). That's so cool that your sister was in that performance. My nephew is a theater major at BYU right now. I wonder if they will ever cross paths. He's super cool.
