snow day

A few weeks ago we had a snow day! And it was so awesome.  It started flurrying around 11am, by noon it was coming down pretty heavy, and by 2:30pm all the roads were covered. So of course schools were closing (even if it was 10 minutes early) and everyone was leaving work early.  I looked at the weather and saw the forecast-- by 5pm it was sunny and clear.  So I opted to hang around the office till 5pm instead of fighting every. single. person. in birmingham trying to drive home in the snow. 

Turns out I made the right decision.  And got home at the same time as the guy that left at 3pm.  I guess all those commutes in the snow in Utah taught me something.  And good thing I didn't choose to relive it.  However, I was pretty excited to see snow! It's been almost 2 years! Almost 2 years since we left Provo. wow, time flies. 

Work is going good and Kyle officially is a student again in 10 days.  You better believe we're living up this next week and a half.
