Thankful

For Thanksgiving we headed to GA this year.  It was relaxing and fun to see Kaley who came home from BYU! But I missed you Becca!! Kaley and I even took a trip down memory lane and went to see The Nutcracker.  Can't believe it's been 7 years since I was on stage with her! Life flies by. We need to cherish every day.

Speaking of cherishing-- I'm most grateful this year for a healthy husband, who just had his 100 day check up and is cancer free!  I'm especially grateful after hearing of the passing of a sweet sweet girl who was in our ward who was diagnosed with Leukemia last November, and passed away on Thanksgiving. I didn't know her very well, but got to know her more as she and Kyle were undergoing similar treatments at UAB. Her and Kyle were quickly known by the nurses as the mormons up on the 9th floor ;).  My heart breaks for her 2 little boys and husband.  Don't ever take a day for granted. And go hug your loved ones a little tighter.
