This handsome guy! We had a little party in GA and then on his actual birthday, Nov 5th, we celebrated with some sushi after work and 3 layer chocolate cake.
But the party didn't stop there. This Alabama fan got to take me to my first Bama game on Saturday. Such a disappointment though that I didn't get to hear "Rama Jama Yellow Hammer." Thanks a lot Aggies.
But we still had lots of fun! Last but not least, a little Veteran's Day story for y'all...
So Kyle was walking downtown outside the VA Hospital on Monday and was waiting at the crosswalk to cross the street when an old man in a Vietnam hat looked at him, then took a second look....then turned and stood at attention to Kyle and saluted. Yes, saluted him like he was a four star general. Kyle was pretty confused for a second then realized why he was doing it... the hair. It was the hair. I told Kyle he should've pointed to the other hopsital across the street and said, "nope, just chemo." haha He's sure fought a battle, just not that one little old man.
