5k swimmer

I always thought I was a pretty strong swimmer when it came to triathlons. For only swimming once a week, race day usual goes fine. Thank you summer league swim team in high school!  Biking, now that's a different story. (however my clips are HEAVEN)  Anyways, Wed was a cross train day so I decided to look up swim workouts.  Active.com provided this one for me, and let's just say...It was hard.  I'm pretty sure I'm like a 5k swimmer if you're comparing my swimming strength in running terms.

Honestly.  I swam for 45 minutes (this is a long time in the pool with little breaks and no music) and I was tired by the end finish of set 1. And no, I didn't finish the workout.  45 minutes in the pool is good for now. Gotta work my way up and strengthen my upper body.

Last night was a brick workout w/ a friend who's doing a triathlon Saturday.  Biked 12 and ran 3.  Followed by dinner w/ the hubby.  Good day if you ask me.
