1st week home

1st off, let me re-introduce you to Lilo Nacho Bess. Yes, we re-named her a little more femine of name but kept the "o" sound since she recognized it. And she loves it now. She knows her name like she was born with it. We, I mean I, also added a little bow in her hair. awwww

Her first week home was an adjustment for her. and us. I ran home every day at lunch to take her on a walk, and our week pretty much revolved around this pup. She panted a little and is still learning the whole "potty outside only" rule, but really and truly, she is a sweet sweet dog. Never barks and is very sensitive. She LOVES to sit on her blanket on the couch or bed with us and would snuggle all day if you let her.

She also took a weekend trip to Atlanta to visit her aunt Sophie. They were very nice to each other. And already friends. See?!

She likes to hide from us sometimes too. This was not set up.

Besides Lilo, school, and work, we had such a fun weekend in GA celebrating mom's bday. I also have only 3 weeks until the marathon! It's getting close. This weekend was the last long run (over 15 miles) and I can't believe it. More on that this week...
