The Beginnings

It is official... I am now Mekelle Bess, and Kyle and I have been happily married for one month! What better to do to celebrate one month than to enter the world of blogging? Well the past month has flown by! Here's a quick re-cap:

June 19th we were sealed in the ATL temple. It was a hot, humid, beautiful day. We enjoyed a wonderful family dinner at Magiannos Thursday night and a gorgeous outdoor reception on Friday. Thanks again to all of the family and friends who were there to support us! We love you all!!!

Our first day of marriage was not how we imagined... Long story short, we missed our flight to St. Thomas and the first day of our honeymoon. Instead of relaxing on the beach, we chilled at the Courtyard Marriott in Camp Creek GA (aka the ghetto), 5 minutes from the airport. We caught up on sleep, grabbed some good ole southern bbq, and saw The Proposal. You can bet we were early for our 7am flight on Sunday. Nonetheless, St. Thomas was amazing! The beaches were beautiful and the seafood was divine! We took a ferry over to St. John for the day, rented a mo-ped, and went beach hopping.

So now we are back to Provo doing the whole newleywed thing. Fighting over the bed, wondering why money doesn't grow on trees, procrastinating thank you notes, listing to crying babies again at church, and LOVING every minute of it. Oh we've had some fun date nights too... West Side Story at the Scera, Phase 10 with Molly and Chritt, and bonfire and games with our fun neighbors.

We are loving eachother and loving life!
