a birthday and the beach

So I had a birthday and am officially more than half way through my twenties. And my 20s are flying by.  Way faster than those teen years.  Scary? Awesome? Exciting?  I can't decide. 

And because you can't just have one dessert and during your birthday weekend...

Next up- Labor Day.  Or the last weekend of summer for those of you kids living out west or up north.  We are fortunate (*insert sarcasm) to have another month or two or three of warm weather.  But with the pools closing, school back in session, days getting shorter and halloween decor in the stores, I guess you can say that it's starting to fade away.

We headed to the lake for the weekend and drove down to the gulf for one day.  best. day. ever.
