3 weeks to go!

Our LAST 20-miler was on Saturday and we rocked it. It felt so great! My feet didn't hurt, my legs felt strong, and mentally I was there.  It was just what I needed.  Because I always get to this point of training and start freaking out!

Did I train hard enough?

Run enough?

Do enough cross training?

Lucky for this girl who always pushes me to the max and keeps me motivated! Plus, she's just super fun to run with.  Classic moments from Saturday: Lisa answers her phone and starts talking during the run and then around mile 15 Andrea starts talking about the Little Caesars pizza she wants to pick up at 10am. ok, you had to be there. I'm telling you, good company is the best! People don't understand how to run 20 miles... first step: find fun running friends.


 Gangsta way of saying 20.6 miles is fun but kinda hurts when you stop.

This week the taper begins. And my legs are grateful.
