Gone and Damaged

Is our current car situation. You see, yesterday, all before 9am, we had an eventful morning. It started as I was driving to work on my LAST day of work. (yay!) So I've been commuting to south SLC for almost a year and a half now, and on my last day of commuting, I become the infamous person on the side of the road (that I can't stand) that causes traffic by bringing out the "incident management" truck with all the bright lights and unwanted attention. Except it was not my fault. The little teenager behind me swore she was "paying attention" when the traffic slowed to a stop, but she just couldn't stop fast enough and BAM. Hit me. Awesome. I was NOT a happy camper seeing that we are supposed to drive to Moab and Boise in the next couple of weeks, and we only have my car. Yep, we only have my car because at 8am yesterday, a man from Salt Lake came down to check out the Beemer and decided to buy it! What a huge relief! We are so happy we sold it before the big move.

Speaking of the big move, the moving truck is officially coming May 17th. Wow, soon. I know! We will be rolling out of Provo in good old Rolla May 20th. (luckily the damage isn't too bad, just a scratched up, dented bumper that we'll get fixed before then of course)

So all before 9am yesterday, we sold the BMW and the Corolla was hit from behind.

I'm so excited to be done with work and for summer to begin! If summer weather ever comes. That's a whole other post... this morning was freezing. And we can't walk.
